How it all started

What is better than having a cat, dog or bird? 

Having 9 dogs, 2 cats and 2 birds...  Nothing can beat this right? Wrong! The best part is that we are all adopted! We are the owners of Nakura, together with our Mommy Gerda. 

Mommy wanted to make a difference in more lives, however she could not adopt anymore kids. She spend endless nights trying to figure out how she can make a difference in more of our friends lives. Finally, she had an idea! She decided to start a pet empire. What do you ask this is?

Well mommy started making custom made leashes and outfits for us and our friends. She then decided to start giving back to the friends in the rescues. She started photographing them with our products on. These photos where used for all our marketing campaigns but also to find forever homes for our friends. Some of our products are even donated to these rescues.  We also open up 20% of our kennels free of charge to rescues. 

Over and above our stylish outfits and doggy hotel (which is to die for!), mommy even started a pet bakery. We now get to eat and enjoy the same treats mommy and her friends do, the only difference is our treats are made with safe foods that will not make us sick.
